| Suzanne Boles is an award-winning freelance journalist, business writer, communications consultant and writing instructor. Suzanne was formerly assistant editor of London Magazine and contributing editor for Your Convenience Manager magazine. Her work has appeared in Reader's Digest, Maclean's, Profit Magazine, Today's Parent, Your Convenience Manager, conveniencecentral.ca, Franchise Canada, Octane, Your Foodservice Manager, London City Life, Canadian Retailer, London Business Magazine, The London Free Press, Canadian Grocer, Home Goods online, and more. Clients include TechAlliance, Financial Strategies Group, The University of Western Ontario (UWO) Faculty of Law, 3M Canada, The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, Earth Day Canada, The Victorian Order of Nurses - Middlesex-Elgin Branch, The City of London, Thames Valley Children's Centre, National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (USA) and a wide range of small businesses. Suzanne has been a member The Professional Writer's Association of Canada (PWAC) since 1995 and sat on the organization's national Board of Directors for six years serving as Ontario Regional Director, Vice President, President and Past President. She is currently website administrator and membership liaison for PWAC's London & Southwestern Ontario Chapter and has also held the positions of chapter President, VP, and newsletter editor. Suzanne is also a member of the Canadian Freelancers Union (CFU) and Cassell Network of Writers (CNW). She is a former member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and was co-editor of the chapter's electronic newsletter. She received an IABC Virtuoso Award of Excellence for features and editorial and an Award of Merit for her newsletter entry. Suzanne mentors many new writers. She teaches non-fiction writing courses at The University of Western Ontario.She holds an Honours degree from The University of Western Ontario and a BA in English from York University.
